Working Hard Or Working Smart. Which one do you prefer?

Do we have to work hard or work smart to succeed in life?

You have most likely heard this a hundred times, "you must work smart not hard to succeed". Or “you must work hard as smart work won’t last long”

What actually term working hard and working smart is? Does working smart mean less work and not endeavoring to be savvy? Doesn’t smart people work hard?  or, on the other hand do diligent employees not work sagaciously. Isn’t it confusing? right! How about we investigate on these two term “working hard and working smart.

Working hard is traditionally considered to be the milestone toward success. You work hard at your goal, your dream, you work day and night sweating all around, and run behind other to achieve your dream, your goal. Even we had been taught and said hundred times and drilled into our brain, “If you want success, work hard”. “You must burn all your calorie and focused on your work”. Even we had been listing same thought, same line, “Life is not easy, you must work hard to achieve something”. Here, I have experienced the same. I have been working hard since two years though tasted the failure, even though I still work hard because we had been taught same word, same line hundred times.

Do I mean to be smart rather than working hard?

What was wrong working hard?

No, working hard isn't wrong. However way of working hard is wrong. Before you working hard, you must be aware about what you are doing, you must work smartly. What does being Smart means and What Does Smart work mean?

Being Smart is about making smart choices, and well known about result. They achieve their goals fast. They achieve everything they want and their desire. Its sound easy. But does that mean they don’t have to work hard.

No, they also have to work hard. So what actually is working hard? 

Working Smart mean choosing owns way smartly. He/she have well idea about the future on what they are working many people thought working smart means SHORTCUT in life, less effort and big achievement. This is somehow wrong concept we all people have. Working Smarter also have to work really hard, even have burden in their life. However only difference between working smart and working hard is, Smart people have goal toward life of being a Successful person, they think everything wisely and straight forward toward dream.

Let’s discuss about what are Smart work. 

For example, you want to be a software engineer. But you have no choice as you belong to medium family background. But you have to compete among ten thousand students and scholarship is given only for 50 students. You prefer scholarship rather than working hard and earn money and become an engineer no matter you have to study 24, 7. This is simply an example of smart work.

But though your hard work you don't get good position. What next? Would you work hard again for next year?

No, only choice you have is work smartly. You can choose alternative like learning programming from internet, gathering people like you who work hard toward his dream.
